About the PennyPincherNewspaper

The Penny Pincher is a free classifieds newspaper that has been serving the Ottawa Valley / Renfrew County for many years now.

The new owner of the newspaper, Donna Landon, has continued the proud tradition of giving people a venue to buy and sell their used items at no cost in the newspaper.

In June of 2008, Donna teamed up with Marc Bissonnette, the owner and operator of CanadianISP.com, the largest ISP comparison site in Canada, with the idea of evolving the Penny Pincher from an Ottawa Valley staple to a coast-to-coast classifieds resource for all North Americans.

Donna and Marc make an excellent team, as CanadianISP has the same principle and desire as that of the new Penny Pincher website: To be usable for free by the general public with no catches, hidden fees or bait-and-switches common to so many other online resources that purport to be "free".

Since launch, the PennyPincherNewspaper.com has seen an exponential growth in awareness from the public - Traffic to the website continues to grow and new people posting ads increases at a steady rate as people explore the site and it's regularly added new features and tools.
