We do not give out, rent, lease, sell or in any other way transfer personally identifiable information about our users, who have not made their own information public on this site already, to any third party short of a court order.

That being said, we have a great respect for law enforcement and will fully co-operate with any branch of law enforcement should illegal activity be detected or reported on this site. We do record all IP traffic and will gladly hand it over when illegal activity is suspected.

PennyPincherNewspaper asks it's users to agree to two forms of email contact on signing up - One gives us permission to occasionally email our users about site-specific events, changes or events, but never commercial emails. This is not optional and is a condition of signing up for our FREE service.

Our other option asks users if they would like to receive promotional email from PennyPincherNewspaper or it's advertisers - This is completely optional and will always be respected by PennyPincherNewspaper. There is no degradation in service or "lower tier" by not accepting the promotional email.
When we do send mail on behalf of advertising parters, it is done through our internal mail system - In other words, advertisers never see your name or email address unless you choose to respond to them.
